As of today, I am 38 weeks prego with #2. I have a 4yo DD also. Lately, as in the past 2 weeks, she has regressed back to her terrible 2's. Very defient, screaming and yelling when she doesnt get what she wants, telling my husband and I no and stop and talking back when we tell her to do something, and not going to sleep when its her bedtime (used to be in bed and asleep by 8:30, now is up until 1 or 2 am and crawls into bed with us, wont sleep in her own bed). Is it because I am so close to my due date? I admit, I havent really been as consistant with her as I should be, but I am exhausted!! Her dad has been the consistant one (discipline wise consistant). no change in her schedule or anything, just a little extra cleaning and shopping trips to get more stuff for the baby. We have not been leaving her out, usually, she picks out what we buy for the baby so she feels included. She also has a couple outfits, toys and books that are from "just her" and also some toys that she picked out, on her own, from her toy box that she wants her baby sister to have. Will this get better after the baby comes? She seems more anxious than usual, as am I. Anyone elses little ones go through this shortly before the new baby came? If so, what did you do? How did you handle it?? TIA
